About assessments
We offer a variety of energy assessment services to business owners with facilities utilizing CenterPoint Energy service, including programs for small businesses and multifamily buildings and building tune-ups. Each energy assessment program includes a customized report on your energy usage and discounts toward the installation of suggested energy efficiency improvements.
Small business and multifamily assessments are available to locations utilizing CenterPoint Energy electric service, and building tune-ups are available to facilities utilizing CenterPoint Energy electric and/or natural gas service. Small Business Energy Solutions (SBES)
This program is available to facilities which utilize CenterPoint Energy electric service. Small Business Energy Solutions (SBES) helps businesses identify savings opportunities by providing an on-site energy assessment customized for their business and free installation of energy-saving products, such as high-efficiency lighting and water-saving measures.
Most Evansville-area small businesses with a monthly electric demand of 400 kilowatts (kW) or less, including grocery, convenience, retail, office, auto service shops, and dry cleaners with CenterPoint Energy general electric service in Indiana qualify for the program. Multifamily Energy Solutions (MFES)
This program is available to qualifying multifamily customers with CenterPoint Energy electric service. The Multifamily Energy Solutions (MFES) Program provides extra assistance to multifamily building owners by offering an on-site energy assessment customized to their needs. This assessment includes free installation of energy-saving products, such as high-efficiency lighting and water-saving measures in common spaces.
Most Evansville-area multifamily building owners including apartment buildings, condominiums, cooperatives, duplexes, quadraplexes, townhomes, nursing homes and retirement communities with CenterPoint Energy general electric service in Indiana may qualify for the program. About building tune-ups
Quickly cut energy costs without spending a lot of money on new equipment through CenterPoint Energy's Building Tune-Up Program. At no cost to you, a highly qualified program expert will perform a study on your facility detailing ways to optimize your current system, typically resulting in reduced energy costs between 10% and 15%.
Additionally, to help install any of the identified improvements, we will cover 50% of eligible measurement and implementation costs - up to $2,500! To receive the maximum discount, every participant is asked to agree to spend a minimum of $5,000 towards improvements, identified by the BTU study, with an 18-month or less payback.
