As an existing CenterPoint Energy customer, you have a few options when moving your CenterPoint Energy service. Select the option below that is the best fit for your circumstances.
To stop your current service, you will need the name of the account holder and his or her social security number. You will also provide some basic contact information, including a valid email address.
We will need the complete address of the location where you wish to turn on service, along with date you wish to start service. You will also need the address of the location where you are turning off service and the turn-off date.
You will provide information about how our technician can access your new location to turn on service, and information regarding how we can access your old/current location to turn off service.
