Since 1992, the home warranty plans offered by Pivotal Home Solutions have helped protect homeowners like you from the costs of unexpected repairs to their home's systems, lines and/or appliances.
Gas Line Protection
For homeowners. Includes an annual in-home inspection of your exposed interior natural gas lines, shutoff valves, and appliance connectors.
Outside Water Line Protection
For homeowners. Coverage to repair or replace a leaking or broken outside water line.
Electric Line Protection
For homeowners. Coverage for electrical wiring inside and outside the home.
For homeowners and renters. Coverage for residential electronics, electrical systems, appliances and other electrical devices within your residence that fail due to electrical surges.
Media Line Protection
For homeowners and renters. Coverage for fittings, splitters, outlets and other passive equipment for inside telephone, internet, and more.
- Why may I need a home warranty protection plan?
Homeowners policies often don't cover everything that may go wrong in your home and on your property. Home warranty protection plans aren't insurance policies. Instead, they are service contracts. Like a service contract that covers repairs to your computer, a home warranty is a company's agreement to pay for fixing and, if necessary, replacing specified home components. - Are these plans required?
No. It is strictly an optional, voluntary program. Customers' utility service will not be affected in any way if they choose not to participate in this program.
- If I purchase a plan, will it be added to my CenterPoint Energy bill?
Yes, when you purchase a Pivotal home warranty plan the charges will display on your CenterPoint Energy Utility bill as "Pivotal Home Solutions Charge" under the "Non-CenterPoint Energy Delivery Charges" section of your utility bill.
- Who do I call to make a claim?
You may call Pivotal Home Solutions toll-free 24/7 at 855-890-8792. Customers also are able to initiate claims via live chat and our webpage at www.yourhomesolutions.com.
There is an initial 30-day waiting period before you can make a service call, providing 11 months of coverage during the first year. Upon renewal/reactivation (if applicable), there is no waiting period. If you choose to enroll in a gas line protection plan there is no waiting period for requesting service.
- How do I cancel my plan(s)?
Cancel any time by calling Pivotal at 844-917-0101. If you cancel within 30 days of your start date, you will get a full refund (less claims paid, where applicable). Cancellations after the first 30 days will be effective at the end of the then-current billing month, and you will get a pro-rata refund, less claims paid, where applicable.
- What quality of repair can I expect?
Local, licensed and insured technicians perform all covered repairs, which are guaranteed against defects in materials and workmanship for one year.
